What is a Green It Movement Director?
Directors are responsible for leading environmental cleanup campaigns within their community as well as recruiting and coordinating with volunteers. We understand that you know your community better than we do, so we challenge you to create your own projects. By and large, Directors organize weekly or monthly cleanups at beaches, forests, rivers and highways, and create activities that inspire others to take action. We also encourage Environmental Directors to participate in the Green It monthly cleanup, which takes place the last Saturday of every month.
